Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area.

Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. The area has excellent education, recreation, cultural, social and health facilities and tourism is a developing focus for the region.

Leisure Services Officer – Swim Instructor

Salary:  $31.23 per hour (plus 25% casual loading; junior rates apply)

Aquamoves are seeking suitably qualified and available instructors to swim teach at Aquamoves.

To be successful in this position you will be required to hold a full Swim Teacher qualification, current CPR and Working with Children Check.

The Aquamoves Swim School operates private lesson Monday to Friday from 9.00am in the mornings and 3.30pm in the afternoons.

The Swim School also offers an extensive Schools Swimming Program which operates between 10.00am and 2.30pm. All lessons are run in line with the Victorian School Terms.

Our Swim School strives to provide opportunities for all members of our community to learn the vital lesson of swimming and water safety.  If you have a passion for swim teaching, we ask that you apply.

In line with the public health order issued by the Chief Health Officer under section 200 of Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 (Vic), this position has been identified as requiring a CoVid-19 Vaccination.
